The Australian Macedonian Advisory Council (AMAC) is holding an open forum on Monday 23rd November 2009 at: Level 2, Pan-Macedonian Association of Melbourne & Victoria Building, 470 Queens Parade, Clifton Hill, Melbourne, 3068, VIC from 7 pm to 10 pm.

Prof. Joy Damousi, Head of Historical Studies at Melbourne University will be attending the AMAC Open Forum to speak about the preservation of Greek (Macedonian) history.

Entrance is FREE, and the whole Greek community is invited, as there will be special guests speakers as well as AMAC speakers describing AMAC's recent activity in the preservation of Macedonian history and current Macedonian issues.

The Australian Macedonian Advisory Council (AMAC) is a Hellenic-Australian non-profit political synergy, established in 2008 for the welfare and advancement of the Greek-Australian community. The chief concern of the AMAC is to edify, preserve and promote Hellenic civilisation in Australia with specific emphasis on the origin, history and culture of Macedonia. Where possible, it clarifies distortions of events aimed towards the falsification of Macedonian history through the illumination of historical truth, thereby safeguarding the kernel of Hellenic heritage for the sake of posterity.
